Thank you for visiting the Southern Arizona Holistic Chamber of Commerce (SAZHCC), a 501(c)(6) non-profit business organization headquartered in Tucson, Arizona. The SAZHCC exists where traditional business principles, holistic practices, and green living meet. Our members are leaders in holistic business practices and the SAZHCC offers support, guidance, exposure, resources, information, and networking opportunities to all of its member businesses.
Unlike 501(c)(3) non-profits, 501(c)(6) organizations are allowed by the IRS to endorse political candidates; therefore the SAZHCC can endorse political leaders who support the ideals, policies and practices of holistic & sustainability focused businesses. This privilege allows the SAZHCC the power to effect change through politics.
501(c)(3) non-profits exist to serve the public good, 501(c)(6) non-profits exist to serve their membership. SAZHCC members have businesses or run organizations that directly or indirectly serve the public good. We are the best of both worlds!
